Last Wednesday, my water broke at 4am, I went to the hospital and was only dilated 1cm, so they sent me home to see if I could get my contractions going on my own.

Unfortunately I couldn't so I was induced at 4:30pm. The contractions came quick and aggressively after being hooked up to the oxytocin, and at 6:09 my little lady was born at exactly 38 weeks.

Since she did come so quickly she still had mucus in her lungs and amniotic fluid in her tummy. She had the briefest 45 minute stay in the nicu, after having some trouble breathing and moving, but is doing absolutely great now.
