Curly hair

I have curly hair ( as curly as a white girls hair can be 😂) and I just don’t know what to do with it, it grows so slowly and the curls make it look even shorter than it is so I find myself straightening a lot. It often just looks frizzy 😫 . I’m just wondering if anyone has tips on how to keep and like define the curl or if anyone has any tips on how to make hair grow faster, thank youuuu ❤️
