Nursing moms, how much sleep is everyone getting?

My daughter is 2 weeks old. Some nights I feel like I’m literally awake the entire night breastfeeding, burping, and soothing her in order to get her to sleep!
Some nights I get 2 hours of sleep, some nights up to 6. It’s exhausting 🤦🏼‍♀️

My baby slept for 5 hours and thirty minutes yesterday night!!!!!!!!!! We were ok’ed by his doc to let him sleep no longer than 6 hours because he’s been gaining weight so well. He’s now 4 weeks. If this was asked at 1 or two weeks it would have been ZERO hours of sleep😂 exclusively breastfeeding feels like it’s just me taking care of the baby (so helps out as much as possible) cannot wait to introduce bottle!!!

Lol not very much at all. I am up every two hours with my 6 day old. Sometimes it feels pointless to try and fall asleep because I’ll just be up again very shortly. I can’t wait until we introduce bottle feeding so my husband can help more with feedings. He wakes up with me sometimes and helps. He’ll changer her diaper or help me hold her while she nurses so I can rest a little more during a feeding.

At two weeks, I was getting about 4-5 because he was snoozing for three hour stretches.  At three weeks, it dropped to around two because he developed silent reflux and had a growth spurt all at once.  Now at four exactly, I’d say I get about 5 again because reflux is well under control and he’s comfortable and able to eat a good amount before his first nighttime snooze.  He’s due for his first wonder week leap in a few days though so I’m bracing for a storm!  Lol

6ish hours. My two week old is waking up 3-4 hours to feed at night. We are down to twice a nice usually. I am adamant about waking him during the day, though, to feed if he sleeps too long. Momma needs her sleep! I do not wake him at night. My pedi said to encourage that and as long as he is gaining weight he’s fine. :)

My son is thankfully a big sleeper. He’ll go 3-4 hour stretches between feedings at night. However it takes me almost an hour to feed and change him. He is such a sleepy kid that I really struggle with keeping him awake to ensure he eats enough.

I’ve been getting 4-8 hours broken up. I go to bed with them same time as my other kids. They are down for 11 hours so in that time frame I sleep as much as I can.

My lo will sleep 3-4 hours at one shot most nights and then it's every 1 1/2 -2 hours the remainder of the night/morning. I usually put her in her bassinet around 9-10pm and I go to bed then too. I try to keep her up as much as possible before she nurses and goes to bed. She has been cluster feeding at night, so we are working through that

I feel like I nap more than I actually sleep at night. We’re on a strict every 3 hour schedule from the doctor so I have to wake him up even if he doesn’t on his own, then have to get him back down so I get maybe an hour in between every feeding at night 😩

I’m averaging 4 hours a night broken up into an hour or two at a time haha. She had a teeny bit of jaundice so for now pediatrician wants me feeding every 3 hours whether she wakes or not. Maybe there will be a little more rest when we can let her sleep!

I feel the same way. She gets up at 1am and don't go to sleep for a good 3 hrs sometimes and then she gets back up at 6am. I'm drained and some mornings I wake up with a headache.
