June baby turned May ❤️😍
At 39+2 I started having constant lower back pain the day of the 26th. Didn’t really think anything of it and figured it was just due to her being so low. Took a nap, it seemed to have gone away. Then it started back again but this time it was coming and going. Very dull contractions. Drove to my fiancé’s parents house since he was home and could take me in if needed. Contractions started to pick up but weren’t timeable. He was of course passed out on the couch while I’m taking care of my 2 year old. She finally falls asleep around 930 and that’s when the pain of my contractions were absolutely unbearable but still only ranging from 6-10 mins. Tried laying down and going to sleep but I just couldn’t. Tried taking a hot shower to see if it was false labor and it never went away. Called my doctor to see what they recommended since I was an hour from my hospital. She told me to come in and they’ll check me out. Woke my fiancé up and to the hospital we went. I get there and situated around 3:30am, they check me...3cm, still 50% and she’s at a -2. Said they were gonna monitor me for a couple hours and check me again. An hour later, nurses came in to stamp my finger and said I wasn’t going anywhere due to me being very uncomfortable, I showed some progression and we had a far drive. Gave me Stadol and an hour later I was at a 4.5. They wanted to start me on Pitocin but wanted to wait and see how I progressed after my epidural. I progressed so easily and naturally, no Pitocin was needed, thank god. By 2-2:15, I was ready to go. Pushed for about a half hour and at 2:42pm this little girl was born.
