Dealing with 6week Post Pardum No Sex?!

How have you all dealt with going 6 weeks without having intercourse with your S/O?! Im not going to break the wait, I couldnt even if I wanted to since im still bleeding! Even though I know some people have sex while bleeding (GROSS TO ME) but I mean really I am suffering!!! We sleep together every night and he holds me and My body just gets heated with tension!!!!!! Is this extremely difficult for everyone else or just me? 😭

With my first daughter sex was the last thing that either of us wanted because it was a huge adjustment and I was so miserable breastfeeding and pumping. We didn’t have sex until around 6 months pp. 
I’m currently 4 weeks pp with my second and starting to get anxious about having to wait 2 more weeks but also nervous because I had a lot of pain afterword with my first. 
Maybe try self pleasure? It’s always good to wait the full 6 weeks or until your doctor officially clears you. When the placenta detaches from your uterus it leaves a wound the size of a dinner plate that needs time to heal. 😣

I went in at 4 weeks hoping to be cleared for sex soon because I had a couple stitches.. but no..they hadn’t fully dissolved and was told to wait 3-4 more weeks 😭 I’m losing my patience haha

We waited I think 4-6 months because I had a traumatic birth then when we did I was like nope this sh### hurts
