Last ultrasound?

I’m not 25 weeks today and have an appt in a few for my glucose testing. I remember last month the tech said it was my last scan until I get further along or if anything is wrong. Wondering why that is? I want to ask so bad at today’s appointment to see my little girl but afraid I will be told I can’t. 😖

It’s not usual to get a third US if you haven’t got any medical reasons to have one. You can request a private one which you will have to pay for but that’s up to you.
My babies always measure small (IUGR) so I get regular scans every 2-3 weeks from 28 weeks to check on their growth. My last scan will be at 36 Weeks. It’s nothing like the 1st 2 where the sonographer is telling you all the details and what is what. It’s more for their own information and is done very quickly and no pictures are sent on to me afterwards.
