I'm here trying to figure out why my gynea wrote metformin on my prescription!
I do have PCOS!
I am TTC!

Metformin is commonly prescribed for pcos. It can help regulate your cycles and potentially help you ovulate. Side note, always ask your doctor about any prescriptions they give you before you leave the office. You pay them to answer any questions you have and shouldn’t hesitate to ask why something is being prescribed and how it will benefit you!

My dr said sometimes they include in for TTC because it helps with the hormonal imbalance allowing the cells to be more receptive.

It’s something that I am trying to get prescribed by my doctor but he has refused. It is something that helps some women who may be overweight shift some weight.

I’m not overweight but on metformin which helps balance hormones so unlike other comment, it’s not just for weight... hormone balance overall!
