How did you feel about your first pregnancy?

Were you trying? Were you ready? I think I might be pregnant and hearing other people's stories would really help me in this confusing time. Thank you!

my husband and I were trying.  I figured it would take a few months.  so, we agreed I would stop taking my bc after our 1st wedding anniversary (June 4th).  closed on our first home on June 6th and found out I was pregnant June 25th.... definitely didn't think it would happen that fast! I feel like having a baby is something you're never fully ready for and it's ok to be a little unsure but it's I wouldn't trade being a mommy for anything else in the world.  my LO is now 3 months old and she is my everything.

We weren’t trying for either of our kids. Condoms failed. We definitely weren’t ready, but you make it work. Our daughter is now 4 and she’s such a character and starting kindergarten! Our son is two months and we are adjusting to life with two now. No matter what I don’t think anyone is ever ready.

We had discussed it over Christmas. Been together for two and a half years and married for seven months. Got off birth control that day and got pregnant on the first try. It happened so fast we were in total shock. And then four days after the positives, we lost that pregnancy at 4.5 weeks. Then we realized that we were truly ready and kept trying. Got pregnant again two months later and now our son is 4.5 months old and we just celebrated our two year wedding anniversary.

We were leaving it up to God at the time. We decided to stop my birth control and let things happen! We were ready if and when it happened (I really wanted it to happen!!) and hit my bfp in 4 months and I didn’t track anything until that last month so pretty sure it would have happened sooner if I would have been tracking sooner and not just winging it 🙂. I miss being pregnant but this newborn no sleep definitely makes me wanna wait a hott minute on another baby.

We planned our first ( meaning we didn’t  prevent) when we were trying i felt ready to be a mom and he felt ready to be a dad. But when we got the big positive five months later we both were scared but it worked out and our nerves calmed. Our first is now three years old, and i  gave birth to our second baby a month ago. He was also planned and we had the same feelings go through our minds when we found out i was pregnant, only difference from our first and second is the “ are we ready feeling” we felt it twice ; the day we got our positive and the day he was born because we were going to be parents to two under 3. Its been a bumpy right so far but waking up every morning and seeing their little faces overshadows the tough moments.

Yes we were trying, and we were as ready as we were ever going to be. Having a kid is such a huge thing it’s hard to feel like you’re completely 100% ready. I was so excited when I got my first positive test but like a few minutes later I was like ‘omg what did we do?’ lol. He’s almost 2 now and the best thing ever (and I say that while I sit here suffering with a head cold he gave me and the laundry running because he barfed on me for no reason).

We started dating in high school and had been together 6 years when we found out we were expecting.. it was 4 days before signing papers on our first home so that was terrifying(we didn’t live together at all until we bought our home so we had no idea what to expect with that adjustment and then adjusting to a baby coming was way to much. I love my daughter to death and definitely wouldn’t change a thing now though. Even though my whole pregnancy was filled with fear and doubt (honestly I still have those same fears and doubts) it’s definitely worth it. Goodluck... sending love and positivity your way ❤️

We were definitely not trying (I would never ever recommend to continue sleeping with an ex on regular basis.. 🙄), we were stupid and using the pull-out method so I still got pregnant from pre-cum. He disowned me because I decided to not get an abortion. Men, eh? 🤷🏽‍♀️

We were not trying at all, I definitely didn't and still don't feel ready. I'm 35 weeks and the closer we get the more I panic lol I know all will be good and me and my boyfriend will do just fine, but we both weren't expecting this at all. It's less scary now than it was at first, we've got almost everything done, but then again once I'm not pregnant anymore, I'll have a tiny little person of my own to take care of. Terrifying but exciting is what I've been saying
