Preparing for Induction Tips?

Do any of you mammas have any tips on preparing to be induced? I am scheduled to be induced Thursday at 8:00PM. If I don’t go naturally that is!

Get plenty of rest the night before.  I was induced today and between doctors, nurses and pediatricians I am exhausted.

I was induced at 39 weeks. It was pretty straight forward. Started the drip broke my water. When I started having contractions I got the epidural I didn’t wait just in case the doctor wasn’t available later on that day. I  was having contractions left and right didn’t even know.come to find out the doctor who gave me the epidural gave me the c section dose so I couldn’t feel nothing. U will be ok. Take lots of pics 💙

I was induced, I had the foley bulb and pitocin. Just relax and take things as they come!

ughnim scheduled to be unduced Tuesday  at 7:30am if I don't go naturally  by then. this may baby will be a June baby. I'm over due and having inconsistent contractions I'm just so ready to be done...

I was induced at 39+1. I went in at 8pm and baby didn’t come until the following day at 12:17 am (26 hours later). I wasn’t dilated at all though. My advice would be to eat before going since I was unable to once i got there. I was also strapped to the bed once i got there (I could get up to pee but that’s about it...until i got my epidural of course then i was in bed the rest of the time). So bring an iPad and binge on Netflix or some other entertainment. I’d also say rest/sleep as much as you can the night you go in, as most of the “action” will likely happen the following day. Hopefully it won’t take as long as mine did though. Good luck!
