Is the at home Doppler’s accurate?

I don’t believe the doppler when it tells me the heart rate. I only listen to the heartbeat and don’t read the screen

In my experience, they are accurate but hard to use. With some work I can find a heart rate that is the same as at the doctor's office. However,  I can also hear the blood flow to the placenta, and my own heart rate, so you have to be careful placed.

The Doppler readings have never really been accurate for me

Mine wasn’t accurate until I hit 15ish weeks. But I still time a minute and count beats and it’s been spot on now. Also- if you hear something that sounds like a windstorm- it’s your placenta (mine is anterior) Stay in that area and you’ll get the baby’s heartbeat pretty quickly. I love using it every once in awhile to hear the baby!
