Has anyone had to do a cerclage while pregnant?

I had an emergency cerclage with my first pregnancy at 20 weeks. My cervix length was 1.5... At 24 weeks I was 1cm dialated and spent 1 month on bed rest at the hospital. My daughter was born at 29 weeks. 
I'm pregnant now and I had a cerclage placed at 16 weeks. I am currently 28 weeks. At 16 weeks and the last check I had at 26 weeks, my cervix length was 3.8... I'm also on makena shots with this pregnancy.

I had a planned cerclage at 11 weeks during this pregnancy. I’m now 16 weeks and everything looks great (just had ultrasound today to check it, actually). The experience in the OR was a bit intimidating just because I’d never been in a situation like that before, but everything went fine. My anesthesiologist was great, I got spinal anesthetic. I was pretty nervous about the needle going in my spine but it was just a pinch and I stayed totally numb through the whole thing. When the numbness wore off back in recovery I had some moderate cramping, nothing awful. The next day I barely had any pain. Some light spotting the next day but it didn’t last long. I had the cerclage on a Thursday, stayed home to rest through the weekend, then went back to work (kindergarten teacher). 
It’s given me a lot of peace of mind - the reason my OB did mine this early is my last pregnancy ended in stillbirth at 20 weeks due to incompetent cervix which took us by surprise, as I had no risk factors for it.
