Hi girls,

I have been TTC for the past 6 months. Last November (2017) I had my implant removed from my arm after being diagnosed with amenorrhoea. Since I had it removed I had a period regular every month 22nd-23rd were my period date and I was spot on every single month considering I also have PCOS and have never been regular in my life before the implant. Me and my partner have been trying & I haven’t now had a period since end of March! So I have missed my April period and this month (May) period, the last time I took a pregnancy test was 3 weeks ago and all I kept getting is negatives! I do not have any sign of a period coming on but I do have the odd belly cramps, feeling sick (more so in the evenings) & really bad back aches.

I haven’t taken a pregnancy test recently as I just know it is going to be a negative! I have been to my doctor last month and she said to wait until I have missed my May period by a week then she can request the doctor for a scan or blood test but isn’t guaranteed IF I don’t have a positive test.

I have read online that false negatives can sometimes be due to the “baby” being a boy and there not being enough hormones or something?

Has this happened to anyone? Was anyone pregnant in the end? Any advice at all?
