2nd scan and not looking good- any advice?

Hi all, On day 6 of our first ivf round. I’m on 300 Gonal and cetrocide. First scan we had 6 follicles. Today’s scan revealed 8 but all very small. Some haven’t grown at all. The biggest is 8mm. They said D day is Friday and we may have to call it a day if there’s no growth. Anyone else experienced this and a miracle has happened? I’m 32 and I’m going through premature menopause. Praying that they will grow. Any advice? Xxxx

How did you end up going on your Friday scan? Going ahead with the cycle? I am also on my first IVF cycle and my follicles measured a little bigger than yours but they're not growing much between first two scans. My doc didn't seem concerned yet, but I am nervous what my scan on Monday will show and if I might end up cancelling.

I'm not sure what exactly each prescription does (I'm trusting my doctor to know what he's doing), but I'm on Menopur as well as Gonal and Cetrotide. I'm pretty sure the Menopur and Gonal help me produce more follicles and the Cetrotide makes them grow.

What’s an Antagonist cycle?

It’s my first cycle and I started cetrocide on Monday. Started gonal Thursday x

Is this you’re first cycle? Have you been on the cetrotide the whole time? I was on the antagonist protocol and didn’t start it until my largest follicle got to 10-12. From what I understand, the cetrotide prevents ovulation by suppressing your ovaries just enough so you don’t ovulate but the follicles keep growing.
