Technically after 6 weeks. But it felt like total shit until around 4 months after csection.

Cervix was closed at 6wk pp appointment but I still had stitches from tearing. Doc said wait for the rest of the stitches to fall out and then whenever I felt comfortable with it. I was probably around 10wks pp that we finally did it. We went super slow and I still don’t think I was as ready as I should have been.

Oops I clicked 6-12 weeks but I meant to click 0-6. My husband and I had sex again 3 weeks pp and I would say that by 5 weeks it was completely comfortable (with tons of lube because breastfeeding dryness is real)

With my first I waited til 3 weeks pp to have sex again. I also had a c-section with her. With my second I had a VBAC, 2nd degree tear and waited until my 6 week pp check up to get the okay from my doctor. But I was extremely nervous about tearing before it happened so when it did I was a ball of nerves the whole 6 weeks and wouldn’t let hubby near me lol
