Birth control packaging error

Here’s the general story:

Since these pills have been out for about 9 months, that is plenty of time for unintentional pregnancies to occur. It’s hard to prove that the users took their pills consistently and on time, but having the placebo pills taken at the incorrect time is the companies fault since they were put out of order.

What do you think the company should do in this instance for people who may have gotten pregnant while taking these pills?
