UTI? TMI KINDA

um well i’ve been using the bathroom a lot and my friends started to notice and say things. When i was at my promotion for school i had to go pee during the ceremony and it was almost my turn, after i walked across the stage i left to go pee in a hurry. Anyway my grandma wants me to get checked but my mom didn’t schedule the appointment and i’m out of town. TMI when i wipe it burns.is this normal and should i get checked out now?
