i got a microcurrent facial while pregnant

I’m 8wk pregnant and i had no idea that microcurrent facials are completely off limits while pregnant and I’m completely freaked out. Does anyone know why it’s bad for pregnant women and if my baby will be ok? I called my doc but she has yet to call me back and now the office is closed. I’m freaking out, that part of the facial was about 5-10 mins, she had it on level 4 setting out of 5 because I’m pregnant! Like wtf shouldn’t they know what they can and cannot use on us????
