I genuinely think 14 is for having fun with friends, figuring out what your style is, trying new hobbies, thinking about the future etc. 
You have plenty of time for a boyfriend in the future. Enjoy your single life while it lasts. 
In saying all of that, if there is a boy you really really like and he is really sweet and respectful and nice, then you could perhaps become boyfriend/girlfriend BUT if you are just wondering if you should start looking for a boyfriend, no.

if you want one, get one. don’t put him before anything important but personally, I believe its good to experience these things while you’re young. Its a good way to learn what you like, how to deal with relationships and their issues, and what you should and shouldn’t tolerate. I say go for it! The more experience the better!
