This group already helped me so much with finding super valuable information and tricks...

I’m currently day 3 post partum - my nipples are very sore & tender, but I got today the nipple shields for a relief for a couple of days and the soothing gel pads too.

However my right breast is super engorged - swollen and lumpy.

My plan is to breastfeed my LO.

What can I do besides cold compress & warm compress, massage?

Other question- will the baby get less breast milk with the shield?
