What is it with THIRD babies!?

Most birth stories I hear about third time moms seem to go OVER their due date, or at least further along than their other babies! And what do you know, 38 week appt this morning and not dilated at all. Discouraging.

Noooo! My first came at 38+2, second came at 39+1, I was hoping it wasn’t a trend towards a longer pregnancy! I counted down this pregnancy to 37 weeks because it was so miserable and I knew once I hit 37 I could start doing whatever I wanted to get her out...no luck so far at 38+4. Every day feels like a week right now.

my 3rd too, at 39 1 today...any day now! my first I was induced at 39 2, and my 2nd cane at 38 2....so hoping for baby, like, now

Haha it’s funny you say this because I was my mom’s third and last baby and I held out the longest! My brother (first baby) was born at 39 weeks, my sister (second baby) was born at 36 weeks, and then I wasn’t born until 40 weeks exactly 😅

My mom had each of us (I’m the third and youngest) two weeks late 🤷🏼‍♀️ my nieces and nephews were all born anywhere from 34-38 weeks. That being said my sisters had some rough pregnancies and were all induced, I’m just floating through with no symptoms so who knows when I’ll go into labor🙄 All babies are different, they come when they want to! Girl do not jinx me 🙅🏻‍♀️ I had my first at 40+5 and my second was induced at 39+2. I’ll be induced this time at 39+1 but I’m HOPING she pops out early.

my 3rd came at 37 wks because I had pre eclampsia. on my 4th and I've had a ton of problems with my blood pressure lately
