Insulin resistance and trying to conceive. Please help

I have been diagnosed with insulin resistance. And another doctor had told me that I have PCOS. I am getting my period, but I am not ovulating. Has anyone else been in this predicament? I’m really trying to get pregnant. I’ve been on metformin for a while.
