Was MIL wrong?

So we left my daughter with my mother in law. She sees her almost every weekend or every other. We had errands to run so we dropped her off. I told her that my daughter was extra snuggly that day. ( we just had a 15 hour road trip the day before) Well we pick her later and his mom says she slept for a while. I was happy until.. they told me they left her all alone in a room in her pack n play crying. Here is why I had a problem with it.. she’s in a house she’s not familiar with.. I’m not the one doing it.. and she was already grouchy from traveling. And now.. she hates her pack n play! I used to be able to sit her in it to play for a while now if I sit her in it or walk away from her.. she HYSTERICALLY bawls. She didn’t start that until after that day.. am I right for Being mad? It’s one thing to sit her in there and let her cry if you can see her, it’s another to shut the door and leave her in a room all alone.
