Chemical pregnancy

I had a chemical pregnancy in April. Before then my period was regular & on time every month. Currently I am about 8 days late. My question is, did anyone’s period become irregular after their loss? How late were you before your next cycle started? I’ve been having SOME pregnancy symptoms but not playing into it too much right now. Just not wanting to get my hopes up.
