Successful VBAC stories please

I want my babies close together, I had an emergency c section in Feb as I only dilated to a 4 after 5 days early labour and 18 hours active labour anyway they discovered my silly boy had turned his head and wasn't sitting in the birth canal properly. I asked the midwife if I would ever be able to have a vaginal birth and she said its very likely I could because my body just didn't know what to do but it more than likely will next time (not getting my hopes up) but I don't want to wait the full two years. Did anyone have a successful vbac after a short amount of time? say only a year? I'd love to hear your positive stories.
