Age Gap?

Is 20 and 25 too large of an age gap? I'm still in college and he does have a full time job, he graduated a while ago.

In my opinion it is because you change a lot between the ages of 20 and 25.
I think age doesn’t matter after a certain point, but I think it does matter during the years where we all develop our personalities and our true selves the most.

My ex husband was 19 years older than me... We were together from the time I was 24 until 35; it wasn’t his age that split us up it was his alcoholism! His OLDER brother is still an attractive older man with a magnetic personality; he travels and still enjoys life. My HUSBAND now and the LOVE of my life. More of an Alpha Male than my ex ANY day; the father of my two beautiful children and the man that allows me to be a stay at home Mommy is six years younger than me... I’m just turned 44 he will be 38 in August and I’ve never been so happy and life is only getting better! My Husband also told me a few months ago that this is the happiest he’s ever been in his whole life and he can’t believe it’s only getting better... I know it’s usually the guy that’s older but my 37 year old husband is more of a MAN than my ex-husband who’s in his 60’s now 😳

I think that five years is not a large age gap, BUT there needs to be a lot of communication. As long as you guys are in fairly similar life stages, that will help. There are a lot of changes one goes through between 20-25. If you have a supportive partner and the lines of communication are open, it can work. Just know that it is a possibility that in 2 or 5 or however many years, you might find that you’ve changed a little, and that could possibly cause friction in the relationship.

My husband and I are five years apart...but we also didn't start dating when we were younger like the ages you mentioned. As long as the age and maturity gap doesn't affect your relationship, it shouldn't matter!
