Baby Name Drama

Anyone else getting bombarded with baby name suggestions from family members? I just found out yesterday that I’m having a boy and my family has been non-stop with the names ever since.

I love them, but we all have different ideas for my baby. I want something different but not crazy. My mom wants traditional. My sisters want unique. My dad wants something the “ladies will swoon over.” My aunt is giving us random objects for names. I’m 19w+1d. I’ve known it’s a boy for a day and I’m already over it.

My husband and I decided that we’d pick the top 3 names and wait until the baby is born to see which one feels right. I’m strongly considering telling my family that we picked the names and don’t need anymore suggestions, just to shut them up.

I’m usually straight forward with them but I don’t want to ruin how excited they are. Plus, I’m like extra emotional and am quick to snap. They’re just trying to help but it’s already driving me nuts!
