Ovulation help - late or missed my chance???

Question

This is our first month using OPKs and I’m worried I’ve missed my peak. My cycle is usually 28-30 days and Glow predicted I would ovulate 5 days ago. The dates are being pushed back and it’s getting me down that I might have missed our chance. Is it possible to ovulate late even with a regular cycle? Or not ovulate at all? Any advice would be appreciated thank you.

The glow analyzer continued to say my strip was negative. I took a pic of an older more dried test taken the day before and it said that I had a full-blown positive! It was ridiculous because the lines were so faded and both lines looked very similar to me. The pic of the strip taken on 5/27 said it was negative on the Glow analyzer, but when I did the ClearBlue digital OPK I got a solid smiley. My issue with those digitals is, for whatever reason, I always get a flashing :-), so when I get a solid I know for sure it’s time! My point is if using Glow analyzer, you have to continuously take a picture of your strip until it looks very similar to what you’re looking at. I just save OPK’s(I know, gross) and take pics to watch it fade away. If I am not pregnant this time around, I will try and watch it build up to positive. My problem is I have irregular cycles though. My daughter is 2 1/2 years old and since I had her I have been all messed up, until this February, March and April. Didn’t get my period this month. Continuous negative hCG… Sometimes I just wanna throw all this away and just leave it in Gods hands! Good Lucks hun!! Baby dust to you and all!

It's possible you may have ovulated on cycle day 12 even though it was not as dark as it was supposed to be. I say that because I have had a hard time getting positives on ovulation strips but have gotten pregnant twice in the last 6 months so I clearly was ovulating. It also is possible that you haven't ovulated yet because they can get lighter and then dark again. Sorry I'm not more helpful haha.
