So I’ve had some health issues that affect both me and the baby and both my cardiologist and doctor wanted me induced right at 37 weeks as it’s safer for both me and the baby and I CANNOT labor on my own at all without being monitored. Well I went to my 36 week appt yesterday to schedule and saw a different doctor and I was her last appt of the day and she literally rushed me out of the appt, wasn’t helpful at all.. told me I’m 3cm dilated and hopefully I can go into labor on my own before induction and she’ll schedule it. Well they called me and schedule it for 38 weeks and said if they’re busy that morning they’ll bump me to the following day or two after because it’s ‘elective’? That just doesn’t make sense to me at all and now I’m worried about going into labor on my own and I’m really freaking out. I’m really disappointed this doctor basically had no urgency about mine or my baby’s condition. Not sure what to do at this point....
