What do I do with myself!?

So...my water seems to have broken, but I haven’t had rhythmic contractions. So I’ve been told to just wait and see what happens. They told me to relax. I’m going to lose my mind! Come on baby! How am I supposed to relax knowing she is coming???!!

I think for infection risk you’re supposed to go in as soon as water breaks.. at least at my hospital 😳😳

Everywhere i read and everyone that i know who got pregnant was told to go in as soon as water breaks no matter what! You should go in; don’t listen to that doctor! If anything happens then you’ll be sorry

That’s so weird I was just told to come straight to the hospital if my water breaks. Congratulations though, you get to meet your baby today!!!!

Who said that? My hospital says to come in when your water breaks. It’s automatic stay

My doctor also told me that if my water breaks I’m supposed to come in ASAP.  The only time I can stay home is if I’m just having contractions that are longer than 5 minutes apart and my water hasn’t broken.

Yeah they said wait until 11 cuz my strep B was negative so idk. LO is still moving every once in a while, so that is reassuring. I’m getting little contractions, but not regularly or strong. Idk.

I was always told to go straight in. My water broke with my first, and when they hooked me up to the monitor they told me my contractions were 4 minutes apart. I didn’t even realize that. So, you could be having them and not even know. I can see waiting a little while to see how your body progresses, but that’s only because I was hooked up to pitocin almost immediately, and I wish they would have let me labor on my own for a few hours first.  My labor was 13 hours from the time my water broke. However, I had a friend whose water broke and she had the baby like an hour later.

My midwives/doctor said as long as I don't have strep b, I can wait about six hours or until contractions start (whichever comes first). Just don't get in a tub or have sex or insert anything else up there and you should be ok. 
But until then, watch movies, take a shower, use that ferantic energy to clean.
