When did your doctor first check for dilation?

I am 37+2 currently with my second child (we didn’t find out gender).  However, I don’t remember when I was checked for the first time with my daughter.  We had to be induced at 39+9 with her due to IUGR and if I remember right, I wasn’t checked until I got to the hospital to be induced.

I was checked at 34 when I got my strep B test, and will be again at 38.

I got my strep b test at 36 weeks and had them check then since I was already undressed. I didn't have a check at 37 weeks but did have one at 38 & 39 weeks. My midwife was going to do a membrane sweep at 39 weeks but when she was checking she said it wouldn't have done me any good at that point since I'm only 1 cm dilated and maybe 40% effaced.

i picked 39 week. but it was more like 39 week and 5 day. 1st time she check my whole pregnacy.

I got checked at 34 weeks and 5 days due to having contractions, it was on Mother's Day. I was in L&D; with the contractions,I was dialted to a 1 and 50% effaced. Got checked the same week @ 35 weeks and 3 days and was still the same,I will be 38 weeks on Tuesday going for a check-up and possibly a membrane sweep. Getting excited!❤😇

I asked my doctor to check me at 36 week due to me having contractions and again at 37 weeks was 1cm and 50% we have another appt on the 8th so I'm really hoping I'm dilating scents my contractions have really picked up again

They started asking at 37 weeks. I got checked at 40 weeks only to find out I was a fingertip dilated and not effaced. I’m not going to get checked again.

I just had my 38 week appointment on Thursday and I still haven’t been checked.  I don’t enjoy it, but I would like to know if I’m dilated or effaced at all!
