Weird boyfriend

So I’ve been liking this guy for quite some time now, at first he didn’t have interest but we recently started dating after getting to know one another. Its been about 3 months now. Basically I struggle with confidence issues, so I put myself down a lot. But I’ve never once heard him say I was beautiful. It makes me think that he has no attraction to me at all. It really hurts and I don’t know what to do. I’ve tried the subtle hints and NOTHING WORKS.
