Puppy problem

I got a puppy about 3 months ago and at the time was living in a different state, my dad decided he didn’t want the dog after seeing her and said she had to leave, I had my uncle keep her for a month so I could move and be able to keep her. We just made the move but would move in an apartment where pit bulls aren’t allowed and since she’s a puppy I feel like shit hiding her and not letting her be free, should I just give her away so I’m not making her miserable. It would absolutely break my heart but I feel like it’s the best option for her to have a good life.
