PCOS??

So I just found out that I have PCOS after almost 3 months of not having a period & 2 years of TTC .. I’m actually devastated right now because I don’t know if I will be able to have children & that’s all I want . 😭 any advice, support, or love is appreciated right now ❤️

I was diagnosed at 17 with PCOS. Saw an amazing endocrinologist (best DR for treatment of PCOS) & was placed on Metformin (I also have insulin resistance). Now that at 32, hubby & I decided we wanted a family & with my prior diagnosis I know that I needed to loose weight, I lost 15kgs before TTC & then we got pregnant 🤰🏼 on our 2nd month of trying. My Theodore is now 5 days old & I turned 34 in feb.

My suggestion to you;
1: Seek a referral to an endocrinologist 
2: Get tested for insulin resistance & if you have it jump on Metformin straight away, it will help regulate your periods & with weight loss.
3: Look at lifestyle changes with diet & exercise, Clean Eating worked for me but I’ve seen some amazing results on here for Keto diet.  Remember carbs & sugar are your enemies!! 
4: Focus on being healthy first, the rest will come

Ive had 2 children and I havw PCOS as well. First pregnancy was easy, second one I was on Metformin, but only took 2 months. Good Luck!

Hey lovely, 
I also have pcos and I found out late last yeah after TTC for a year. I to was devastated, I felt so useless because the one thing my body was made to do, I couldn’t. 
It took me a few months to wrap my head around it all and to feel okay about it all. But since going to see a fertility doctor and making a plan of what I need to do to conceive I feel so much better about it. 
And children is still and option u might just need a little help to get there. So stay positive and don’t lose hope. And remember u are a strong individual that can get through this☺️

You will be able to have kids it’s just gonna be a lot harder because you don’t ovulate like everyone else does but it can go away with losing weight
