I went for my regular check up today and after the obgyn check my cervix she send me to L&D.; My blood pressure was over 170/90’s and on top of that I was 1.5 cm dilated. I’m only 32 +5 days pregnant so I got really scared that I might have the babies today, specially since I was having a lot of pelvic pressure and rectum pressure too. The nurses immediately started and IV and took my BP every 10 min for one hour. They has to give me double the medication to control my BP because it wouldn’t go down, until two hours later I started to get more normal readings. They admitted to the hospital for observation. All my lab work has come back normal but they don’t know why my blood pressure is so high, I’m still having pressure but they don’t think babies are coming today, thank God, but just Incase they gave me the steroids shots. I’m so scared that our babies will come so early, I just want to make it to 34 weeks, so they are stronger.
