went to the ER last night due to some spotting and cramping. Took an ultrasound and some blood work, my hcg levels were good and measured around 5w6d. They could see a normal appearing yolk sac but no fetal pole or heartbeat. so I have to get more blood on Friday to see if my hcg levels are increasing, if not then they said it's usually an early miscarriage. The doctor said it could be too early to get a heartbeat or fetal pole so I'm hoping that is the case. I just wondering if anyone has had this happen before? if so, what was your outcome?
