So I’m looking for some input. My fiancé and I got engaged about a month ago, and we are one of those couples that instantly knew we were going to spend the rest of our lives together. We have a house and two dogs together, and we are ready to start our family. Additionally, we have set a date for our wedding (Nov. 17. 2018).

Because I am a teacher we would love to plan a pregnancy so that I could give birth a few months before summer vacation so I could have all my maternity leave, THEN an additional couple months at home with the baby. Our plan is to start trying to get pregnant later this month.

I understand that there was a stigma decades ago about premarital pregnancy, but we are both financially stable, responsible, and 100% ready to start our family.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this plan.
