Me and my fiancé hace been together for almost 6 years, engaged for 3 years. We have a house and a 2 and a half month old son. We recently borrowed £25k which we will be paying back through our mortgage (so basically remortgaged). We borrowed this to get a new kitchen, do the garden up and generally sort out the house. Now, my fiancé wants to use half of that money for a wedding. I don't see the rush and I certainly wouldn't use that much on a one day event. What would you do?
