dilation question
I went to my 36 week appt this morning and the doctor said I was 2 cm dilated on the outside and 1 on the inside.
I know dialation means nothing in terms of going into labor, just wondering what outside and inside mean? Is this similar to being effaced??
With my first, I never was checked and had to be dilated by a folley bulb.
