I just got my results back today and it says I’m positive for high risk HPV E6/E7. I’ve been doing a lot of research on it, but I’m having a difficult time finding out if this is from sex or if it’s just something that I’ve randomly gotten?

My doctor emailed me and said it will most likely clear up on it’s own given my young age.

I have yet to get the HPV vac (gardasil). Is there any sense of getting the vac now that I’m HPV +?

I have an appt with my doctor next week, but just want to get some opinions from everyone else on here.
