Are opks for TTC women only?

everyone is basically saying only TTC women take OPK’s. Is that true?

OPKs are for tracking ovulation. I'm not sure why you would want to track ovulation unless you're trying to get pregnant. If you tried to use OPKs to avoid pregnancy, you would probably get pregnant.

I wouldn't use an OPK to avoid pregnancy. I never got the intermediate "high but not peak" fertility, I always went from "Nope" to "Ovulating any second now." Given that sperm can live in the body up to five days, that's just too risky for me
