I was scheduled for a c-section one week before my due date because Millie was breech. Thankfully she flipped!! whoo hooo no c-section!! Then I'm told that I'll just be induced on my c-section date because I have gestational diabetes. I told her I didnt want to be induced I want the baby to come when shes ready. This Dr. wont listen and is insisting I be induced a week early no matter what. Millie is not big, at 34 weeks she was 4lbs 13oz, which is in the 43rd percentile. I won't get her weight again until 38 weeks. But my diabetes has been very well controled throughout my pregnancy. The ultrasound tech has asked me several timea if I was sure I had GD because ive done so well keeping it controlled. Is anyone else going through this with their dr? I'm not sure how to handle this. It's like my wants dont matter.. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
