Horse riding while pregnant?

So I’ve ridden my whole life, I currently own 7 horses of which I ride 3 a day. I’ve just found out I’m pregnant, Doctor has given the go ahead to ride until I’m uncomfortable but I know lots are against it. I’m 22 and will only be riding my quiet easy horses and have stopped jumping/going at speed.
Has anyone that regularly ride continued riding? How long for? What was your partner like/did they agree? 
My partner is against me riding after 12 weeks (more of a risk if I fall off), so I will respect his wishes and stop but just want to see what everyone else has done :)

I don’t have experience with hoses while pregnant, but I have had a decent amount of backlash with gymnastics. I coach it, and am very active in spotting and demonstrating (only things that don’t require pounding/risk of placental abruption). Everyone tells me to slow down, stop doing things I always do, and so on. My doctor approved it, and I always listened to my body. With my first daughter I coached till I hit my due date. I’m 32 weeks with my second, and still going strong. My daughter is healthy, and thriving (and obsessed with gymnastics, climbing, jumping, and pretty much everything physical.. probably my fault...lol). I would suggest listening to your doctor and your body. You will know when it is too much. If you ever feel hesitant, stop. If you feel confident that you are being safe, just listen to your docs advice. It’s so common for people to act like pregnancy is a disability, and we should stop everything...I don’t listen unless it comes from my doctor/medical professional, or I feel uncomfortable.

i kept on riding untill it got to uncomfortable at about 24weeks .. 
i just rode both my quiet mares and not the young ones.. just listen to your body ❤

I've got 2 horses (I'm 21) and kept riding until I felt uncomfortable, didn't do a lot of schooling but mostly hacking with my boys. I rode until 35 weeks when it got uncomfortable. my midwife encouraged me to keep riding and keep my routines the same, I just didn't ride everyday though I rode a few times a week. hope this helps :)

if you've always ridden, no reason to stop. I rode thru both of my pregnancies with my boys, and have with this little girl as well. no issues. did start getting uncomfortable around 8 months though.

Your only risk I can see is falling and then mounting/dismounting with a belly can get awkward.

I have done a lot of things people say are not safe. My doctor said I have a perfect pregnancy and nothing to worry about. I personally listen to my doctor and my own body. Other people's opinions are just that, opinions. I will do what I feel is best for my body and my baby. Not trying to be rude, just saying.

I received a list of activities safe and unsafe during pregnancy. Horse riding is marked unsafe there.

My OB only listed 2 unsafe activities. Horse riding and skiing. I was doing pole dance for fun all through  1st trimester and she was fine was that. She said it had to do with the sudden downward motion that could cause issue when horse riding. Up to you totally, just saying what my doc said.

I've only just seen this post! I'm a professional jumper with a string of competition horses... im 18weeks. My doctor amd midwife and both encouraged.me to continue so long as i feel comfortable.... i co pete up to 1.40m in competition....some  of ky horses are more bouncy and powerful than others and i have found some a little ubcomfortable than others. Ones I have seems uncomfortable to risky I have stopped riding, bit the others in still going with and was out competing last week. It is safe for you to continue if you are comfortable. So long as it is something you are used to you will be ok. Just be careful and sensible

i rode four wheelers until i was 30+ weeks. i think you know what your body can and can’t handle. just be cautious
