Pacifiers during bed time ?

Is putting a pacifier in the babies mouth while she’s sleeping okay for newborn? 
I been breast feeding all day and my breasts are sore. 
But I want to do what’s best for her. & I don’t want SIDS to happen.

A newborn should still be night feeding, until they reach a certain weight. The paci is safe to give at night, and some are even recommended to reduce sids.

they say it's best to hold off on a pacifier until baby has well established breast feeding, but it does help reduce the risk of sids when used while sleeping. so if you think it won't confuse your baby it should be okay
