So I had my 38 week appointment yesterday (at 36 weeks i was 0.5 cm dilated and 0% thinned, at 37 weeks I was 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced) this week the OB said I was still 1 cm dilated but didn't tell me how effaced I am. He said "Well if you're still pregnant by next week well see ya then!" and I said "I'm sure I will be!" and he said "I'm not! I wouldn't be surprised if you've had a baby by next week" and now it's killing me because I don't know how thinned i am. Surely it's gotta be more than 50% or he wouldn't have said I probably won't make it to my next appointment?
