Life Happened in 2018 ❤

LONG POST WITH PICS...
I found out I was pregnant when I was 21, and had just completed my junior year of college. To add onto this wonderful surprise, I found out that I had actually conceived the WEEK after I had bought my wedding dress 😂
Life was looking up, but also shooting out in different directions! I had my senior year of college to complete in May 2018, I had a full-time job, we set our wedding date to July of 2018, and now our baby's due date was set for Feburary 2018. Liam and I were scared, excited, and most importantly, we were determined!! 😀😀

My pregnancy slapped me in the face honestly, morning sickness became 3 times a day sickness that visited every day...but the day that we heard the heartbeat, I didn't care what I had to go through, as long as she lived (we knew deep down it was a girl). One morning around 39 weeks, I woke up throwing up blood. Liam took me into the ER and that is where my doctor said I could be induced. We said YES PLZ and we were admitted to Labor and Delivery on Feb 22. That day was filled with (cetaphil)?, HGTV, and so much nervousness! The medicine began my contractions, but they came on too fast. You best believe I said yes to the epidural the moment it was offered 😂😂 I was frightened and I hate needles, but Liam came through and sang me "You're Welcome" from Moana. He held me to keep me still, and sang just to me. It was beautiful and I appreciated the help out of him. Don't know what I did to deserve this wonderful man! ❤❤❤
ANYWAYS, that night I finally got a few hours of sleep, and was told I was in active labor. I was like "Alright cool. Thanks." And took another nap. We were woken up again at 8, and basically told that baby is on her way! We called family and she was born by 9:23. The midwives had to pump her out by literally pushing down on my stomach because she got stuck, but thanks to amazing midwives, my baby came out safely and crying. My lovely Lennox Aibhlinn Schemmel was born at 9:23 a.m. on Feb. 23, 2018. She weighed a whopping 7 pounds and 15 ounces (quite a weight for my size) and was 21 inches long. She was perfect and I was in love!

So Lenny Bear was born on a Friday, and I returned to school on Tuesday. Took her with me and everything! Liam stayed outside of the class with her and I fed her in between classes. It worked like that for the next month. I returned to work 4 weeks postpartum, and she joined me at the daycare when she was 6 weeks. We were returning to "normal" and getting closer to my graduation day. Liam made me do my homework and helped me out while I was feeding Lennox or too tired to care if I got a B in the class for missing an assignment. Again, wtf did I do to deserve this awesome guy?

On May 11th, 2018... I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Criminal Justice!! 😊 I walked the stage and thought of my little 3 month old and all that my little family has been through. We did it! It was amazing, worth it, and will always be a great memory. Now, I am hearing up for the wedding in a month, July 13th, and does my dress fit? Eh..? 😁

I've got a month left until I'm married 😂❤
