As a Christian ? I need answers

Is it ok to listen to secular music? Is it okay to indulge in secular media (i.e. Family Guy, 50 Shades of Grey, twilight, comedy with cursing or sexual behavior,etc.)? Lastly, is it ok to attend a friend or family member's party if you know there will be secular music played and alcoholic beverages served?

Look into the Believer’s Freedom section in 1 Corinthians. As long as it doesn’t cause a brother or sister to stumble in faith, or you, it’s technically okay. The topic of secular media is something between you and God, but be sure not to take it lightly. God definitely doesn’t take sin lightly, so don’t let yourself be compromised. As for 50 Shades, I’ve looked into it, so this is first-hand, and that’s porn. Just because it doesn’t have a naked picture of someone doesn’t mean it isn’t porn. That specifically I would stay far away from.

Ask the Holy Spirit to convict you , personally I  would stay away from things like fifty shades of grey  forsure even twilight  , the party you can be light there just don’t indulge in things that would compromise your walk , you can stand out having a great time  not drinking etc ? But again asked for conviction in this circumstance, the lord will give you wisdom and be pleased you asked for it ! ❤️

1. Drinking alcohol is not a sin, getting drunk is.
2. Secular music is a tricky subject because a lot of it glorifies carnal passions; lust, vengeance, violence, drugs/addiction, suicide, breaking the law, etc. But a lot of it can convey Truth, even Christian truth. Then there's cursing- it's nearly impossible to find 'clean' music. Does it feel like it's harming your soul? Are you benefitting from it in a spiritual manner or a carnal one? Does it alter your speech in an un-Christian way? Does it put unclean thoughts in your head? 
3. Secular entertainment is similarly afflicted, possibly more so than music. Images can stay in your head forever. There are many things I've watched that are considered popular and trendy, even among Christian, that I wish I had never seen, such as Game of Thrones and the Walking Dead. Do you want to expose your soul to these things? Are you capable of viewing such things with Christian eyes instead of secular ones? When I became a Christian in my mid-twenties, there were many things that changed for mr in regard to what I watched and what I listened to beforehand. I loved Harry Potter growing up, I still do, but knowing what I know now, I am wondering if I will allow my children to read it when they are older. I stopped listening to certain music, I stopped watching television shows and movies that contain certain elements (even movies and shows I used to love) because, as a Christian, I can't stomach it. 
4.  Just listening to or watching or reading secular mediums harms others in addition to yourself, by supporting the medium, giving it your attention, promoting it, and allowing whomever created it and participated in it to affect you. And you must keep in mind that you do not belong to yourself, you belong to God, and you should do your best to live outwardly as though you do and be an example to others, Christian and secular alike.

it is personal. depending in where you are in your walk with christ. if u feel called to give up certain things, do it. If it helps you come close to God do it. but if it will affect you and hurt you. then don't.

If it's not okay for you to do all those things you mentioned above, then your religion is more like a typical cult that wants to isolate you from the rest of the world and brainwash you with their values morals and beliefs
