so I'm 7 weeks pregnant and my friend is also trying to concieve she just sent me this picture of her test she did this morning her period is due around this time between 7th-10th what do you all think any advice would be appreciated! I never got a test like this and I used the same brand I even recommended it to her! I either had a blank test bit or a very very faint line but this looks a bit confusing! thanks in advance. x

I’ve had those exact test before the dye got trapped under the clear piece that covers the test area. Looked like a perfect line on mine though. Hopefully you will get your bfp!

That's an invalid test. The hasn't been enough urine on the test for it to process properly and so you've got a combination of a dye run and an incomplete test (or rather your friend has)
She is going to need to retest. Tell her to pee in a cup and dip the test rather than peeing on the test. This way she can actually control how long the test is in the pee for and make sure she doesn't get a repeat of the above. Tell her to ONLY dip for as long as the instructions say - it's usually between 5-10 seconds
