Boyfriend needs to be told I love him so many time

He says it like i have no idea how many times a day , he asks if I still love him if I’m in love with him , if I’m still madly in love with him so many times a day , he wants to have sex a lot as well he will try to get it going 1-3 times a day . Is this normal ? I’ve never had a partner quit like this . I do love him like crazy and I love making love to him . But I’ve never had this before .
