How long does Birth Control pills last?

I have been trying to get pregnant but I have been under birth control for medical reasons. I stopped for about 3 weeks now and took the pregnancy test and came out negative. Does anyone know how long will it be until it were's off?

Pretty much immediately. That's why when you miss pills you're supposed to use back up. It doesn't stay in your system without being constantly replenished...which is why you take pulls daily.

I got off the pill like in October last year got pregnant in November right away but miscarried in January. I would say wait a few months off the pill before trying to conceive. I have been off the pill since October am just doing time to let it get off my system so when I want to have a baby again I don't run into the same problem so I just use condoms for now. good luck
