Should we be able to edit our poll answer?

Question

Have you ever clicked the wrong button on a poll, and wished you could change it? Or have you ever voted, then later changed your mind? Or come across an old poll, and your old answer is no longer relevant to you, and you wish you could update it?
Shouldn’t we be able to edit our vote on polls by now?!

No. Some people would change their answer to fit with the majority just so they can feel accepted or part of the group, or simply because they can't handle seeing that others have different POVs. I think it should stay this way. Maybe people should take time to read a post before voting, and make sure they're pressing the right button. But mistakes are to be expected 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’d just be happy if I had to actually open the post before voting. I accidentally vote while scrolling so fucking much. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I SO wish we could. I’ve accidentally voted wrong on so many polls just scrolling. At the very least Glow needs to get rid of the stupid thing where you can vote on polls within the main thread. Way too easy to accidentally hit one of the answers.

I say yes. I've clicked the wrong option on accident many a time and they don't always go with what I believe, although if I feel strongly enough against the accidental vote I voice my opinion in the comment section. Also, I admit there has been a time or two where I vote, and read the comments and fell a change in mind, or I vote and then realize I was reading the question wrong.

No. I accept that there is a margin for error and usually expect that some people vote he wrong way. I’ve done it a few times but idc.

I don’t think it’s really that important. If you made a mistake while voting, oh well it’s not the end of the world. The point is is that you know what you meant & what you believe. I think it would be a little too extra to add that option...I don’t think twitter even has that option on polls 🤔

Yup, sometimes I need voice over on my phone for my vision and it’ll read the question just fine but it won’t read the answers with out picking the one it read first which is very inconvenient

Sure it would be a cool feature, but ultimately not really that important to have.. most polls end up with a couple hundred votes, and nobody can see how you voted but you... it’s kinda like being a republican voter in Illinois, you can want your vote to be counted but ultimately it’s a blue state and your one vote is not going to change anything much. Change your commentary if you change your mind.
